“If you have a mother or a father, try telling them how much you love them. You see, my whole life was about being rich and famous; I had to win the race. I had to win the race at the expense of my marriage, my family, my family for what? Life is not about winning the race, it’s about finishing the race and how many people we can all help finish the race. How we can start being kinder to each other…how we can stop hurting other people. Because in the end, it may be you who needs help finishing the race. Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. YOU are the meaning.”~ Mark Mero
For me a mother is one of the strongest, most loving and supportive human beings in the world. And I say this because, besides the beautiful gift of life that she has given to us, she has always showered us unconditional love, made sure that we have everything we need even tough it means leaving her with nothing
. A mother always puts her children first, she cares for them in a way that no one else could ever do it, she is always there for her children when they need it, offering them everything she has, even if sometimes for a child it can be seen as little.
I think this amazing woman should always be loved, appreciated and from now and then, we should express our gratitude and remind her of how much she means to us every chance that we have.
In this inspiring video, Marc Mero brings a tribute to mothers all over the world and shares the sincere story about his relationship with his mother with a middle school group. It’s a simple message, but it’s one that brought every single person in the audience to tears, and me as well I have to admit. If there’s one thing you would love to listen today, it should be this inspiring message on love, hope and positivity. You won’t regret it.
P.S: What does the word mother bring to mind when you think about it? If it were possible, how would you bring tribute to mothers on this special day? Please feel free to share your thoughts with all of us by commenting below.
With all my love,
